I have worked on V-Rally 4. It's a racing game, "simcade" oriented. The game tries to catch the the essence of old V-Rally games to create a fun and extreme experience. V-Rally 4 was my very first project in the industry, and I was working on several gameplay aspects, as well as all the tutorials in the game.
• Worked on 3Cs, setting different vehicle behaviors to every vehicle types
• Implemented camera settings for every vehicle types, and learnt the design principles of player cameras in a racing game
• Written design documents for cameras and vehicle settings, explaining how to tweak them
• Balancing for player rewards and progression in the career gamemode
• Designed and implemented every tutorials
V-Rally 4 was my first project in the industry as a professional Game Designer. I designed the tutorial for the career mode, and balanced rewards. I also worked a lot on cameras for every vehicles, as there was different vehicle types, so I could familiarize myself with the engine. The project gave me good design habits on the player cameras and player controls, taught me how to work with experts of every field and to collaborate with them as soon as possible in my designs.
